Taipei Tech is one of the best universities of technology
in Taiwan. It was an industrial school which founded
with ROC history. It plays an important role that takes
the responsibility to train the talented specialists
either in the past or in the future.
"University" could be considered as a node which
gathering the new generation of young people in the
city. It should not only show the latest trend of social
environment, but also be the place that educating the
public. All of those concepts and actions, especially
the meaning of education, should be popularized in
entire campus rather than just be conducted during
courses.
Faced with the problem such like Aging society
with fewer children; Reforger of the technical and
vocational education, the adaptability of the campus
will be the future trend. By research on the urban
textures and the space in campus to obtain a system
which could placed in the campus, furthermore, it will
make a vital link between the city and the campus in
a different way.

台北科技大學為臺灣技職大學的龍頭之一，是民國初年
便存在的工業學校，在過去與未來皆須擔任城市中培育
人才承先啟後的重要角色。
大學對於城市可謂聚集新一代人潮的節點，其應表現出
未來大環境的走向，而現在也同時需要扮演著教育全體
群眾的存在。這些不應只在於學校中的課程發生，而在
於校園本身能夠發揮的教育意義。
面臨現在外在環境問題如高齡少子化、技職教育再造等
等的不確定因素，學校本身所能提供與面對的應變能力
則成為未來的趨勢。以都市紋理與校園空間特性研究獲
得一種系統並置入校園，使得學校與都市之間以不同的
方式達到更緊密的連結。
