The industry in Da Wan Southern Section Industrial Area are most of wholesale business, retail trade and plant office, it is a developing area. These trades are formed of a hypermarket in this area, attracting crowds and a heavy traffic, resulting in traffic jam.
The internet era coming, retail trade facing restructuring, consumption patterns will change gradually. With the rising online shopping industry, hypermarket will be both market and logistics, providing a fast loading and unloading shipping. Be inferred, the phenomena will transform from the current hypermarkets to many logistics hubs, further into a logistics city.
Traffic patterns would be the primary issue to the city. With the formation of the new traffic patterns, remodeling the urban grid and architectural forms, can get a new city vision.

大彎南段工業區為開發進行中的區域,多為批發零售業及廠辦單位,而批發零售業也形成此區獨有的大賣場區。大賣場吸引人潮,人潮帶來密度,密度也造成此區交通壅塞。
網路時代來臨,零售業面臨轉型,賣場的消費模式將漸漸改變。而隨著網路購物的興起,賣場將兼具「物流」,擁有快速進貨及出貨之功能。推斷現有的大賣場區未來將轉型為一座座物流轉運站,成為一座物流城市。
交通為形成這座物流城市之首要課題。隨著交通網路(物流網)的形成,重塑此區的建築形態,進而重塑此區的都市紋理。
